OFF SEASON RATES...

ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

For many guests the Spring and Fall seasons have become a favorite time to visit Brekke's Fireside Resort. With our great rates being only one of many reasons.

There's nothing like the fall color display of Wisconsin's Northwoods. Whether it's a car ride, pontoon boat tour or relaxing hike, the ways to enjoy it are as varied as the colors themselves. Just don't forget your camera! Peak Color in this area is from late September to early October.

While good fishing can be found all year, the opportunities change as the year progresses. Spring is the best time for action. In May or early June bluegill, crappie and walleye are biting about as well as they will all year. Fall is the time to think big. If you want a trophy musky or walleye, September and October are great months to find one.

If you're planning to explore the Northwoods on foot, the spring and fall are great times to do it. You'll find comfortable temperatures and an abundance of hiking and biking trails to truly enjoy these silent sports in silence. For birders our resort is located within an hour of 25 stops on the Great Wisconsin Birding & Nature Trail.
