| Spring - We open in May, the perfect time for early season panfish and walleyes or the Spring bird migration. Our resort is located within a hour of 25 spots on the Great Wisconsin Birding & Nature trail, so birders can easily plan out a variety of trips. Hikers and photographers will find the beautiful scenery of Spring's renewal, while bikers will find the cooler temperatures which lend to more comfortable riding. And with tens of thousands of acres of County, State and National forest lands nearby to explore, you'll find plenty of room to enjoy these silent sports... in silence. |

Fall restores the same cooler temperatures, but brings an altogether different scenery, with a color display that provides a breathtaking backdrop to the entire Northwoods. This is the time to fish for a trophy musky, or simply take our canoe and your camera for some wonderful photography. Hunters will find a variety of options, with ruffed grouse being the main attraction. In fact, often times the best grouse populations in the country can be found right here. Fall is also the time for weekend festivals in the Northwoods, celebrating everything from cranberries to Harley Davidsons. |
